Matched with his vast experience as a firefighter/ paramedic for the City of Miami for 17 and a half years, Johny consistently demonstrates these qualities making him a deserving candidate for April 2024 Employee of the month. Thank you Johnny for all you do!
High praise for your staff.
I wish to pass along high praise for not only your staff that transported my mother, but the company itself as well. Crew members Yoelvis, Joseph, and Demetrius, transported my mother last month. They were extremely kind, attentive to her needs, thoughtful, and very respectful. This was the best crew and transport experience I’ve ever had with my mother. Frequently with other companies, they treat your family like another body to push around but this crew treated her like that was their own grandmother. Not only that, but the crew was also professional and dressed the part as well. The ambulance was very nice and taken care of with everything they needed. The crew worked so well together. I was impressed so much I can’t begin to put together the words to describe the wonderful job these three gentlemen did. I have never seen that level of skill and professional attentiveness and care for a patient in another ambulance company. My emotions get the best of me when describing how much I appreciate NHT for standing out against other companies. Nora P.
Michael McMath- April 2024

2024 Disney on Wheels
The Li’l Abner Foundation began in 2017 providing the trip of their dreams to 16 children from Miami Dade and Broward in fragile medical condition. In 2024 the movement grew and this year 45 children benefited from this dream trip. To give context, the trip includes bus transportation to Orlando, two-night accommodations at a Disney World Resorts hotel, meals, and admission to Magic Kingdom. Gala dinners with classic Disney characters and more. Best of all, no beneficiary family pays for any of these services. On Friday, the group left Dolphin Mall Parking Lot, after sharing our first meal with the children, over 100 volunteers, and many of our sponsors. The group was transported in 3 coach buses, ambulances and non-emergency vehicles equipped for wheelchairs, to the Grand Floridian Hotel and Resort at Walt Disney World. There a reception and dinner with Mickey Mouse was waiting for them, the children received gifts and accessories that they would use the next day. The second day, the group boarded the Monorail to Magic Kingdom theme park and needless to say, we have many beautiful stories to share about each child’s experience and their caregivers. Finally, on Sunday morning we had breakfast with the Disney characters at the Grand Floridian Convention Center and the group departed back to Miami. NHT was not only one of the presenting sponsors, but also provided ambulances, non-emergency vans equipped to transport wheelchairs, drivers, and paramedics who accompanied the children throughout the entire trip.
